Legal Secretary – Castleford - £16k - £20k + benefits
Our legal client based in Castleford is currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ Legal Secretarial experience. Candidates should have a background within conveyancing
Duties will include audio transcription, formatting/amending documents and preparing bundles, filing, photocopying, collating information from various websites, generating monthly bills, liaising with cashiers, diary management and telephone contact with clients. The candidate will need to be flexible when working for other fee earners across the departments, willing to learn and able to use their initiative.
Desirable key skills and experiences:
- Experience of working as a Legal Secretary in a solicitor’s practice.
- Fast and accurate typing at least 65+ wpm.
- Ability to draft non legal correspondence.
- Ability to manage and organise large volumes of documents.
- Confident in use of email and other systems in daily work.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
