- Accounts Assistants - £15k per annum – South Shields
The successful candidate will be involved in all accounts reconciliation, compiling credit notes and invoices, as well as filing using data management software.
Part of the role involves maintaining spreadsheets and obtaining proof of delivery requests, therefore good excel skills are a must.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaising with our courier companies to obtain proof of delivery requests and log returns information.
- Dealing with third party courier claims, maintaining and updating spreadsheets and dealing with claim discrepancies
- Assisting Sales Order Processors in the raising of orders and credits.
- Assisting Credit Controllers to retrieve POD’s, invoices and data
- Collection of debit paperwork from all Field Sales reps to be checked and passed over the Credit Controllers.
The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be good with numbers.
This is a key role for someone who is interested in working in the accountancy function or are currently studying accountancy. To do this job well, you will have knowledge of excel and be able to input data quickly, with an eye for detail.
You will also possess excellent communication skills – both verbal and written are essential as you will be liaising with both internal and external customers. Knowledge of Excel and Sage is an advantage.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5.30pm with one hour for lunch
