- Customer Account Manager (Automotive Industry) – Swindon - £27k - £29k per annum + benefits
Our client is a leading supplier within the automotive industry. Due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Customer Account Manager to join their existing team
Reporting to the Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager, the successful candidates main responsibilities will include:
Maintain and develop relationships with current clients
Customer visits – respond quickly and efficiently to customer requests.
Develop new customers in line with the Sales Annual Business Plan – identify new opportunities to expand customer base.
Achieve profit and sales targets in conjunction with Sales Annual Business Plan.
Provide quotations to win new business
Liaise with the Operations team to forecast and monitor customer production requirements
Maintain/update records in relation to Sales activities i.e. Quotations, Production Drawings, Product Masters, Model control sheets etc.- The ideal candidate must have:
- Previous automotive or manufacturing sales experience
Experience of managing customer accounts / developing new sales opportunities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with a confident telephone manner.
Ability to work within a team and be flexible.
Must be customer focused
