PR and Social Media Account Manager – Halifax - £22k - £25k + bonus + benefits

 

Our client is a Yorkshire based marketing agency looking for an enthusiastic and willing person with a ‘can do’ attitude to fit in with their modest but dynamic, growing team. They are currently looking for a PR and Social Media Senior Account Manager 

 

As a PR / Social Media Manager you would be working with a range of B2B clients, from growing technology SMEs, to established international companies. You will not only play a key role in managing existing clients but also contribute towards developing the growth of the PR and Social Media team.

 

In this role you will also work closely with the growing design team to deliver across integrated accounts, as well as contributing original and creative ideas for the agency. 

 

As you would expect from an agency role, it is fast paced, challenging and demanding. It requires somebody that is passionate about delivering successful campaigns and is driven to impress whilst being career focused.

 

Skills Required and Responsibilities:

 

- Demonstrable and proven account management experience, with agency background

- B2B client experience 

- Strong copywriting and proofing skills

- Solid and proven understanding of PR and social media strategy development

- Experience at preparing pitch proposals

- Ability to manage schedules and prepare regular reports

- Understanding of preparing Google Analytics

- Excellent media relations skills

- Confident when dealing directly with press contacts and bloggers

- Good communication skills written and verbal

- Knowledge of Microsoft software packages
