Accountant – Leeds – £22k - £30k + excellent benefits

Our client provides professional audit, accountancy and taxation services. They work directly with their clients to build long-term working relationships that are established through their dedication to each individual client. As a result of this they have developed a vast understanding of business needs as well as acquiring specialist knowledge of various business sectors.

This Leeds based accountancy firm is looking to expand their fast-growing practice with a conscientious Accountant who has audit experience and is looking to strengthen this aspect of their technical skills.

As an Accountant, the chosen candidate will embrace their day-to-day duties which include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for Limited companies, Sole traders and Partnerships
• Completion of personal, partnership, trust and corporation tax computations and assisting clients with VAT returns
• Interim accounts and ensuring clients are provided with appropriate and timely advice
• Frequent client contact via phone, email and face to face meetings to resolve any accounts related queries
• Contacting other professional services on behalf of clients

Ideally, the chosen candidate will have a minimum of four years’ experience in public practice and will be qualified or studying to become either ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, with, of required a full study support package provided for the successful candidate. Due to the requirements of the position, it is necessary that every applicant has previous experience working in a practice accountancy firm in order to be considered.
